Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy and Endovascular Surgery Contract in Atlanta, GA

Travel RN Job Details

• Location: Atlanta, Georgia 30342
• Contract Length: 13 weeks, from November 9, 2026 through February 6, 2027
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020–$2,130
• Nursing Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week
• Shift Hours: Approximately 6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.; schedule may vary
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Healthcare Setting: On-site procedural and surgical care environment
• Holiday Requirement: Commitment to working two major holidays—Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day—and one minor holiday—the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve—is required.

Endoscopy and Endovascular Surgery RN Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience in endoscopy, endovascular surgery, or a closely related procedural specialty
• Current Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Georgia
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Cardiac, vascular, or thoracic nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work an on-site, 10-hour day-shift schedule and the stated holiday rotation

Travel RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients before, during, and after endoscopy and endovascular surgical procedures
• Prepare patients, procedural rooms, equipment, and supplies according to established clinical and safety standards
• Monitor patient status, identify changes promptly, and communicate clinical findings to the procedural team
• Support the endovascular surgery team during procedures while maintaining sterile technique and adhering to infection-prevention practices
• Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice and facility protocols
• Complete accurate patient assessments, documentation, handoffs, and discharge or recovery instructions
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia professionals, technicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
